Verse of the Day: Righteousness

Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith.

Light is sown for the righteous, and gladness for the upright in heart.

The wicked flee when no man pursueth: but the righteous are bold as a lion.

Every way of a man is right in his own eyes: but the LORD pondereth the hearts.

The just man walketh in his integrity: his children are blessed after him.

In the way of righteousness is life; and in the pathway thereof there is no death.

Thy righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, and thy law is the truth.

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.

For I tell you that unless your righteousness exceeds that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.

And when He comes, He will convict the world in regard to sin and righteousness and judgment: in regard to sin, because they do not believe in Me; in regard to righteousness, because I am going to the Father and you will no longer see Me;

I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, first to the Jew, then to the Greek. For the gospel reveals the righteousness of God that comes by faith from start to finish, just as it is written: “The righteous will live by faith.”

For what does the Scripture say? “Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness.” Now to the one who works, his wages are not credited as a gift, but as an obligation. However, to the one who does not work, but believes in Him who justifies the wicked, his faith is credited as righteousness.

Do not present the parts of your body to sin as instruments of wickedness, but present yourselves to God as those who have been brought from death to life; and present the parts of your body to Him as instruments of righteousness.

But if Christ is in you, your body is dead because of sin, yet the Spirit gives life because of righteousness.
